What's New

Smart Traffic Director (SmTD) is a combination of Dynamic Traffic Director and Avesha's enhanced ExternalDNS offering. With GTD, you can configure the distribution of traffic to your services based on the application load at each site, ensuring that your users always have the best possible experience.

Dynamic Traffic Controller

The Dynamic Traffic Controller (DTC) automatically updates the weight attribute of services when it is enabled on in the cluster. This causes ExternalDNS to update the weight with supported DNS providers. Supported providers can then direct more or less traffic to a given service instance in proportion with the advertised weight. Currently, DTC only supports the NS1 DNS provider.

Enhanced ExternalDNS

Avesha's ExternalDNS microservice is an enhanced ExternalDNS, which annotates a service/ingress to be advertised to the DNS provider. You must first configure a DNS provider with the microservice to get the annotated service/ingress.

Our enhanced ExternalDNS supports StackPath along with numerous DNS Providers.
