Ask Smart Scaler
Ask Smart Scaler is an interactive feature that allows you to query anything related to Smart Scaling metrics. You can also use it to visualize metrics.
This topic explains how to use the Ask Smart Scaler feature to query metrics for a specific period of time.
Ask Smart Scaler is currently in beta and may undergo changes based on user feedback.
Use Pre-defined Templates to Get Application Metrics
We have provided several pre-defined query templates to help you retrieve your application metrics and visualize them on charts.
Select a template and replace the placeholders with your actual values before submitting it.
The placeholders are enclosed in single quotes (''), for example, the placeholder are:
'<service>'
, '<cluster>'
, '<start>'
, and '<end>'
.
To submit a query and/or visualize data:
-
Go to Ask Smart Scaler on the left sidebar.
-
On the Ask Smart Scaler page, select the template that best matches your query.
-
Replace placeholders with the actual name or action, and then click Generate.
-
The system processes your query and returns the output.
Use a Custom Query To Get Application Metrics
You can also create a custom query in the text box to get application metrics.
-
Go to Ask Smart Scaler on the left sidebar.
-
On the Ask Smart Scaler page, enter your custom query, and then click Generate.
-
The system returns the query output.
