Release Notes for KubeSlice EE 1.3.0
Release Date: 2nd August 2023
KubeSlice is a cloud-independent platform that combines network, application, Kubernetes, and deployment services in a framework to accelerate application deployment in a multi-cluster and multi-tenant environment. KubeSlice achieves this by creating logical application slice boundaries which allow pods and services to communicate seamlessly across clusters, clouds, edges, and data centers.
We continue to add new features and enhancements to KubeSlice.
What's New
These release notes describe the new changes and enhancements in this version.
Enterprise License
We are excited to introduce the new Enterprise License, which is measured based on the vCPU infrastructure. A vCPU represents a virtual central processing unit (CPU) assigned to a virtual machine (VM). You have the option to purchase the enterprise license outright or upgrade from an existing trial license. The license fee is payable annually.
KubeSlice Manager offers a dedicated page for monitoring the vCPU count.
Should you require an increase in vCPU count during the active license period, we support upgrades with an additional license fee.
For more information, see enterprise license.
Known Issues
- On the Violations graph of the KubeSlice Manager's vCPU page, the vCPU graph and cumulative data visualization on the user interface might be inaccurate for some part of a time interval. For better accuracy, use Prometheus metrics.
