Smart Scaler solves the problem of runaway costs of Kubernetes clusters that are heavily over-provisioned to compensate for the reactive and time consuming tuning required for vanilla HPA.
We continue to add new features and enhancements to Smart Scaler.
What's New 🔈​
Enhanced Smart Scaler Dashboard with HPA Simulator​
On the Smart Scaler dashboard, we have added new tabs, Overview and Details. The Overview tab displays the total aggregated costs of the deployed compute resources. On the dashboard page, you can simulate the HPA behavior to view the total cost savings using the Smart Scaler. The Details tab displays the application metrics for predictively-scaled events and running applications, including the monitoring of scaled pods.
