Release Notes for Smart Scaler Version 2.15.4

Smart Scaler solves the problem of runaway costs of Kubernetes clusters that are heavily over-provisioned to compensate for the reactive and time consuming tuning required for vanilla HPA.

We continue to add new features and enhancements to Smart Scaler.

Dashboard Enhancements

• On the Dashboard overview:

  • The Current vCPU Spend tile is renamed to Current vCPU Utilization.
  • The Smart Karpenter details tab is removed from the overview.

• On the Dashboard details, we have introduced two new graphs:

  • Error Count: This graph provides the number of errors for each microservice of an application.
  • Latency Request Percentage: This graph provides the latency request percentage for each microservice of an application.
