Release Notes for Smart Scaler Version 2.8.0

Smart Scaler solves the problem of runaway costs of Kubernetes clusters that are heavily over-provisioned to compensate for the reactive and time consuming tuning required for vanilla HPA.

We continue to add new features and enhancements to Smart Scaler.

Enhanced Smart Scaler Dashboard

On the management console dashboard, we have added new column names for cluster location, applications, agent version, microservices, and namespaces. We have enhanced the user experience of the columns' search filters. The left sidebar of the management console now contains only the active tabs.

Config Helper Tool Discontinued

We have discontinued the Config Helper Tool in favor of the helm-based configuration from this version.
