Smart Scaler solves the problem of runaway costs of Kubernetes clusters that are heavily over-provisioned to compensate for the reactive and time consuming tuning required for vanilla HPA.

What's New

Event Agent

This version provides the helm installation of the Smart Scaler agents, which are Inference Agent and Event Agent.

Event Agent is the new agent that provides autoscaling of planned events. Event Agent scales up applications at predefined event schedules and scales them down after the events end for reducing costs. It cools down gradually to support traffic and avoid any traffic loss. This agent automatically adapts to changes in application deployments. For more information, see Event Agent and autoscaling of planned events.
